As the great video our colleagues in Developer World made about the features you are getting in your Xperia™ 2011 Phones with the latest 2.3.4 Gingerbread update shows us, you will get great Camera enhancements.

First of all, you will get the world´s first 3D Sweep panorama functionality powered by Sony in Smartphones.

This means you will be able to take panoramic pictures in 3D (and 2D) with your Xperia™ Smartphone by selecting the function, and just moving your phone from left to right in a sweeping mode, letting the phone take the picture automatically, so that you obtain great panoramic pictures from the places you love.

Now when XPERIA X10 is launched here in the Nordics we also have kicked of the campaigning around it. I know that my posts usually have been rather product focused but I thought I would just highlight the cool campaign material some of my fellow marketeers have been creating for this launch. I went for a morning walk in Stockholm this Tuesday and brought my X10 to try to give a feel of what the streets of Stockholm looks like now.

Also I’d like to thank you for all the feedback you give on our products, as said earlier we are here to listen and will of course make sure it’s forwarded to our development teams! Keep it coming!

I spent the weekend up in snowy Åre of Sweden – of course I shot some pics with both X10 and Vivaz and also some videos with Vivaz. Below you find some snowy landscape pics and also some videos I shot when there was an open session contest in jumping into the BigAirBag that we brought to Åre this weekend. It’s cool to see those guys and girls really spin off in creativity when they are sure that they will land softly I know I’m not experienced in shooting action sports and in retrospect I should have found some cooler angles to shoot from. I guess also some kind of DIY fish-eye lens would have done the tricks better since that’s what we are used to when it comes to action sports

Please note that the scene with all the snow was a bit tricky for exposure so for some of the clips I pumped up the exposure one step manually.

Finally back at work after a while of family time over the holidays. I’ve seen that the discussions are ongoing in the comments section here and as usual it’s great inspiration to read your thoughts and we sure listen to all your points. We will try our very best to keep up with lots of material, both around X10 as requested but also on other new releases coming as we go along!

So to sum up the holidays here’s some photos that I’ve shot over my vacation and also some from my friend Olle also trying out an X10 over christmas.

A note on the last pic also – I’ve been enjoying the holidays getting the opportunity to be a tester of the worlds first LTE Network (a.k.a “4G”) and get practical speeds so far of around 40 Mbps down and 6-7 Mbps up - really cool

This weekend Xperia Pureness hit the store in Sweden. Yes, I deliberately wrote “store”, not “stores” since Xperia Pureness in Sweden is sold exclusively at the department store Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) in Stockholm. A temporarily concept store is set up with the theme of “Talk. Text. Time”. So I thought I would share some pictures that Rikard and I took of what the store and the branding looks like. All pics shot with XPERIA X10.

You will notice that we have used one of Sandeeps Satio pictures as well as some of Rikards as part of the interior design (Sandeep, lots of kudos for letting us use your picture! In the pics below the tag with your name isn’t on the wall yet, but it should be there by now. Hope more of us here in Stockholm get to understand your eye for photography).

Besides the fact that it adds a nice touch to the interior of the store, it is a good illustration of how digital content of this blog goes “analogue”
