I am very excited to let you know that the first Xperia X10 mini hit the market yesterday.
Sales started in various markets worldwide. Attached a small apetizer of what you can expect. I am looking forward to read your comments about your personal experiences discovering the (as we think) fantastic UI, designed for single hand usage. Enjoy!

BTW, Timo Maassmann can you please let us know the price of Xperia X10 mini in Sweden ( Unlocked ). I totally understand, that the Price differs from market to market and the in-box contents. I just to get an Idea of how would the price be around ( and moreover the prices in Sweden are considered to be official.

Congrats on the tweet Manish ![]()
Regarding price in Sweden I can jump in. I just looked at a big Swedish price comparison site and it seems to be offered at just below 2800 SEK unlocked without contract. That’s including Swedish VAT of 25%.

P.S.
Sir, I Miss the Old Blog Community and Readers and the comments. Nowadays, it’s a whole lot of spamming and rage stuff!

its definately not spamming at all. people want a stable and fast phone if they pay around 500 euro for a phone. and a x10mini which is not for the highend sector has a more stable and more responsive software than the x10.
the people just want quality for their money. thats all. if they dont complain about the quality no one at SE would even try to fix problems.
once again just take a look how fluid the ui of the x10mini compared to the x10 is.

I agree with lukas although I too would like to more quality than rage but SE needs to understand what consumers really think about the X10. And users cannot he content with sub-par service on a flagship device.

Hey Manish! I got luster white. I got it last Wednesday via eXpansys. Awesome, beautiful device. Just it lags a bit. I downloaded many apps and some of those you’ve suggested as well.
Tell me, when you use Task killer, and kill all processes and/or apps. How much memory do you have available just after killing all? I tend to have around 160 MB RAM max at all times? Does that occur with you too?
Thanks

Congrats for your Xperia X10! ![]()
Yes, the Free Memory is about 160-165Mb when i had the R1FA014 firmware. But since i upgraded it to R1FA016, the free memory increased to 185Mb. ![]()
And if you are worrying bout the RAm size being 384Mb, then don’t worry the Ram is occupied by Android well, so available Free Ram is somewhere close to what you said. And it is more than enough for multi-tasking as a single app takes around 1Mb and HD Games takes around 15-30Mb.

My girl loved it on first sight, I can say it was first set she wanted to have other than Nokia and she is diehard Nokia gal so two thumbs up for Sony Ericsson bringing X10 minis. Although she needed a set badly to replace her dieing one she went for E72 but I am sure as now it is coming in market she would go for it after several months or so.

It doesn’t have a removeable battery? How come?
I guess it’s because of size!
Any rough idea on how long does the battery lasts?

Hey, I got a great slogan for the x10 mini.
“Half the size and half the price”
I long for playing with one!
