Doesnt mini ship now also?

I’m happy to say that we have now started to ship out Vivaz pro to selected markets around the world. There might be slight differences in when it will be available for your market, so I advice you to check with your local operators and retailers for more detailed information.
Vivaz has been shipped in large volumes already. Some of the top reasons from consumers why they desire the phone is the superior HD video recording as well as the unique Human Curvature design. It feels very pleasant to be able to extend the Vivaz family with Vivaz pro with a full slide-out qwerty keyboard. I use the Vivaz pro as my main phone primarily for the convenience when it comes to messaging (my sms, email, facebook etc), yet, being a Cyber-shot fan, I could never compromise on the camera.
Final note, just want to highlight that both Vivaz and Vivaz pro are confirmed to support up to 32GB micro SD memory cards. This is a big reassurance if you are a heavy user of music, games, apps and video recording. Why not take the opportunity to check if your local retailer is up to date with this information

They like Froyo and MT, we also like that
1) FroYo announcement and of course the performance boost via JIT compiler. http://developer.android.com/sdk/android-2.2-highlights.html
2) PayPals Mobile Payment library available for Android, need to check if apps are allowed to use this on Android Market. https://www.thepaypalblog.com/2010/05/paypal’s-mobile-payments-library-now-available-for-android-io2010/
3) The first Google TV from Sony, this is soooo cool how the TV and Internet get seamless integrated and together with the Cloud to device API it gets even more interesting. http://www.google.com/tv/
4) Cloud to device APIs, this will definitely create new opportunities, check the demos on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBQFXRW5ZiE
5) Tried the Perceptive Pixel multitouch screen at the After Party. Loved it. Not sure what I can use it for back home, but I want one http://www.perceptivepixel.com/index.html

I am a Vivaz user and I think it is a great phone though the software just can’t do the job. It just feels wrong: the lack of kinetik scrolling, all the bugs it has, the high memory consumption of the camera app, which usually lags recording HD video… An update should address all these problems as some Nokia handsets with really worse hardware perform way better than Satio and Vivaz.

Any idea when it will be rolled out across the UK, and on which networks? I’ve asked Voda and they haven’t heard anything yet!

Thanks for all the comments!
It helped me remember an important thing.
For all you Vivaz users, there is a recently (since yesterday) available software update that you can find on our web under the support section.
It provides general stability and battery performance improvements.
Find out more on http://www.sonyericsson.com and then click on Support.
