Hello everyone
As of today, the good people at Microsoft have made the new version of Office Mobile (2010) available for free via the Windows Phone Marketplace. So, if you’re toting an X1, X2 or an Aspen, check it out.
The new version is supposedly much more touch friendly and includes improved versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint workspace (including the ability to edit PowerPoint documents). Get it for free from your handset via the Windows Phone Marketplace or visit the Windows Phone blog for more information.
Thanks, Aaron

Good news! But tell us what most people wanna know. Give us a change log of the updates made to the X10. Tell us when the next firmware update for the X10 will be released. Be specific. Get on it!

Hi Aaron,
Please give us an approx date for the MR2, i know you guys kinda missed the deadline with MR1 so it is more sensitive to give out any date anymore, but since it is already circulating and that a supposed SE support manager has already confirmed it, it would be nice to have the info out of your mouth too, can’t wait to see MR2 coming this week! and it is Thursday already!

I wonder do you ever try to use your own windows phone, X2? It freeze, it lags, it makes me crazy! Just give us an option to remove your fcuking buggy software and use pure Windows OS if you can’t do it right. I prefer to buy software from third-party company but can’t use it couse ugly “slide-view” prevent me, takes file associations and left-button assignment. Hate it!

Hi Aaron, in case you didn’t realize… X1 users are left out in the cold with Windows Mobile 6.1 with no feasible upgrade path to Windows Mobile 6.5. Hence we X1 users are not able to use Office 2010 Mobile. It is just sad to see fellow X2 users having to go through the same agony of having to deal with sub-performing software on our ‘flagship’ devices.

You can’t, did you not read the article? It’s only for Windows phones, the X10 is not a Windows phone.

Thank you Andrew. I did see that. Unfortunely I am somewhat tech challenged and had googled ‘X10 and excel word’. It has an “Office Suite”, but nothing under it.
My previous P1i at least had the excel and word which I require. Can recommend a good alternative? I would be much abliged. Tim
