To continue on what has become a good tradition it’s now time for unboxing of XPERIA X10 now when we have our first commercial samples here in the office. This time Gustaf is on vacation so my friend Mårten helped me out instead. We show the boxes for both colors of XPERIA X10 and also show a bit of what to expect in the box. We also tried to show a bit more of what the boxes look like since I guess most of you have seen quite a few videos of the phone by now 
The clip is shot with Vivaz so to get an HD-experience remember to click Watch on YouTube and select 720p. (This will also show a bit on the continous auto focus working, it struggles a bit from time to time in indoor lighting but I think it does quite a good job! This time I also set white balance manually)
As for the earlier unboxings I’d like to remind about the fact that kit content differs between markets and service providers so there might be more things in the kit that will be available on your market.
This is probably my last comments here, Im quite sure I will not be having this phone already. Hhmmm let see, I just read that the hardware of this doesnt have multi-touch support, even if OS or software support is possible if hardware doesnt have the capability to do it. So its just release, the unlock version, whoa, most goes $700+ and no free nav software.
I am a little gutted that it looks like the Xperia X10 ‘flag ship’ model won’t come with all the toys i would have expected.
I have been SE for a long time. From the Sony Z7, SE P900, P910, P990 and currently on the W960 and patiently waiting for the Xperia X10. All my phones previously have come with little extras.
My w960 came with a VERY USEFUL case, helped protect the phone from the odd accidental drop here and there. My P-Series phones came with charge stands.
I think SE have missed a trick here. They could have seriously won over A LOT of people. Why didn’t they supply a charge station, wireless headset (like in their promo video) and a nice protective case like you can get with a blackberry?
And the box, that looks a bit lack luster too! And it’s just the box, my w960 came very well packaged. It felt like a premium device. Why do i feel like SE have done some major cost cutting? I think it will have the opposite effect, I have been SE for a long time, but now, not sure.

We regret to inform you there will be a further delay of one week due to

Please rest assured the phone is not to far away now and no one will have
this handset before us. We do not like to let our customers down and as always
we are confident you will find this phone to be more than worth the wait.
The positive thing is the phone is with us and if you are receiving this
email you are guaranteed and confirmed to be one of the first with this handset,
and that?s our promise.

I’m a big fan of sony ericsson. It’s reported that the full QWERTY keyboard of sony ericsson x10 mini phone takes full advantage of the display and it’s spacious enough for most users.Is that true?
Wish that SE would have used a good digitizer, maybe even as good as the Motorola Droid, or at least as good as HTC.
If they would, I would have my X10 now…
