Some of you might have seen it already but my friends over at developer world have made great a demonstration video of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz. They show the phone and talk about it more from a developer perspective mentioning flash-based panel applications etc.

Re: Can the X10 be upgraded to future Android versions i.e. 2.1 etc…
HI,
X10 has great hardware and can run all known versions of Android OS. Right now it is 1.6 version on X10 but Bluetooth works on it, there is support for active sync… I have heard that there will be update to newer version of Android OS but that is not confirmed. Everyday stability and performances of X10 are better and better and it is really great phone. I like great display and camera and camcorder are soooo good and fast comparing to some other phones.
Best Regards,
Amir

@SE, as you problably know the full version (not only free apps) of the android marketplace is only available in certain countries. This might effect your sales of the X10 and future androidphones in markets missing the full version like e.g the Nordic countries.I’ve heard that SE might make android apps available through PlayNow but I have not heard to what extent.

Hi Rik ![]()
I made a question before, asking if the European version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia 10 will work here in Brazil, and i went to some of the Phone Operators to see the frequencies of the internet 3G that they use here. All operators works with 850, 1900 and 2100Mhz, does that means that if i buy a european version, it will problaby work fine with 3G, 2G??
And other thing i would like to ask.
The Sony strategy includes Brazil to be one of the selected markets?
Because here, there is a huge improviment in the sells of mobile phones (cause of the great moment of the economy), and when i asked to the people what mobile phone they would like to have, 70% prefer a Sony Ericsson phone, but they don’t know about the Sony Ericsson X2, X10, Vivaz and etc.
Same thing about the 3D televisions, if Sony hit the Brazil market in this great moment of the economy (better then the Usa
) Sony wil reduce those milions in debts in a couple of weeks.
PS: For exemple, here the “poor” N97 costs R$ 2,250,00 this in Euros will be € 950 and there’s a lot of people who have it.
Thanks and pleasee Rik reply meee

Filippe,
Sorry but I’m in no way an expert on frequencies and network technologies. However I have some colleagues that know more and also colleagues in Brazil that I’ll try to get an answer from. I’ll get back here in the comments as soon as I know more!

X10i (Variant Europe) would be a problem if your favorite operator working in 850Mhz

Lots of of bloggers aren’t too happy with this new iPad.There was 2 much hoopla regarding it and alot people got disapointed.Thing is, I actually see lots of the awesome potential uses of this gizmo. Third-party soft for doing music, games, newsprints and magazine and FFS books, all sorts of good stuff, but they failed to sell it properly (aside from the books). It feels kind of incomplete

Hello, I just purchased a new Iphone, the ringtones on it are terrible. There are plenty of people selling ringtones but after the price I paid for the phone I am not going to pay for ringtones. I found this informative video on youtube and now I make my own ringtones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEU0Avpk39s
