@Rikard Skogberg: Can you please clarify if there’s a front facing camera? If so what is planned to be supported?

    @ Tom
Well X10 surely has a front camera. Some videos out there says it is for the “Video chat on device but still it is to be conformed if it will do video calling.”
Well i don’t think SE would add a front camera to satio and pull out the video calling feature of it. Buts thats only me for now! Let rikard answer you. Am also hoping to get many official statements and clarifications here. :)

Isn’t the price too steep? This phone is the next big thing, make no mistake. Everyone wants to put his hands on this darling, but the price (if in US dollars) is too…deterring. A price above $750 is repulsive.

Do something Sony please do something!

    @ Shikhar
Thats just an estimated price and it totally depends on specific markets and country u r in. So don’t get that repulsive about it. There are a lot to come for sure before they launch it. :)

Well thanks a lot Manish. I am from India, and for the last three months I have been announcing this to be my future phone. So lets hope it would be within my grasp one day. Cheers for Sony Ericsson!

For viewing pleasure, could anyone post comparison pictures of Satio, Xperia x2, and this beast Xperia x10? It would be a geek’s delight! :)

Also please remember that in Sweden we often pay premium prices, there is no way to convert our swedish prices in kronor (Kr) straigth to US dollars (USD). From the start for example the N97 was 699 USD in the US, and in Sweden it cost 7000 kr at launch, which translates to 983 USD.

    See the difference? :-)

Hi, Sorry for hijacking this thread. But Rik Didn’t you use the DS 980 handsfree with the satio? Did you get custom ringtones to work? for me it only plays the standard SE one…

    Christian,
Not sure I remember what it played as ringtone actually. Not fully sure if I understand what you mean either :-) Does it play your custom selected ringtone in the phone speaker but the standard SE tone in the earplugs? My Satio is away on a loan right now but I’ll test with a colleagues Satio tomorrow in the office!

    Tom and others.
Yes I think my X10 sample has a front facing camera, it sure looks like it. I’m not in the know on what will be supported though but I’ll try to find out and report back!
