Yesterday, we presented the Xperia X10 to Swedish press. I held a short presentation on the UX platform and the Timescape and Mediascape applications. Afterwards I did some interviews, some of which reached half way around the world. With my last name being “Skoglund”
Below is a quick video giving you a glimpse of the event.

Oh! Well… At least we know that the long awaited update will be available soon.
And it would be so good to see Satio being the Fastest S60v5 Device. But i know Sony Ericsson don’t have a habit of surprising their customers with such good gifts.
@ Sandeep, Have you seen QT for S60v5?
It would be cool to see QT + 5 Panels in Satio. Man really i loved it. It fuses all kind of phone interfaces. The Samsung’s , Satio’s and last but not the least X10.
Manish I mention my friend’s nick was Phoner? Do You know who he is?
Can anyone provide the link of the application Bill is toking bout in this video.
http://www.youtube.com/user/SonyEricssonDev#p/u/4/6s0KCDH1hm0
P.S.
It sounds a gr8 application built in just 7 days, doing maps, weather information and twitter updates all integrated into one app build using the web sdk announced by Sony Ericsson a week ago perhaps.
Hey Noc, You seem to be very suspicious about the Phoner guy! eh? I think he works for the Sony Ericsson! Don’t he?
@ Novica
Please let us all noe if ‘phoner’ finds an update on emma. Well satio owners can try that too!!
P.S.
Well i haven’t heard of him. But would like to noe,..he is?
Yeah hunk he’s a SE Developer. So my answer is he has to know if there is an update. Some one should check Android Market. I can’t right now. Interesting app by the way Manish.
@ Noc, Hmmmm… Nice. then tell him to make Satio the fastest S60v5 device and also tell him to add some cool features to Satio like Video Dj and QT. HaHaHa
@ hunk
VERY FUNNY!
I can’t wait for MWC. It”ll be very amusing! I think the X10 will be launched at the end of february! Probably SE will keep developing the X10 even until MWC is over and they’ll probably launch it late-february! I don’t think 10 of february will be THE DAY! Any way about the satio update thing is 80% true. The satio is being withdrawn from UK becouse of software issues. I read that on the gsmarena blog. Any way if the software seems the be the problem the update is very very close!
Does this entice anyone?
I mean if this is official i would love to have a satio with Nexus!
http://android.hdblog.it/2009/11/20/nexus-questo-il-nome-della-nuova-interfaccia-sony-ericsson/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+HDblogMobile/Android+(Google+Android+Italy+-+HDblog.it)#googtrans(it|en)
AS they are calling it..Nexus is the second skin and will be applied to symbian as well. I will love it..simply love it.

But it says Kaurura will be the first phone to have all these qualities perhaps.
I don’t like kaurara either.
I also read the GSMArena Blog and I am really worried about the Satio sales.
@ Manish, Come on dude. Satio will never have the Nexus, perhaps. As i already said, “Sony Ericsson don’t have a habit of surprising their customers with such good gifts.” As miserable as it sounds… Satio doesn’t even have Video DJ and no Equalizer!!! Satio is a high end phone and still?
And yes Kurara is really really ugly. Can’t believe how could sony ericsson make that phone.
Really with all that reputation of making such beautiful phones (except a few like W995)… how could sony ericsson accept that design!
“Samsung Galaxy Spica claims to be the first Android based phone to support DivX”
Read it on a tech blog today?
Is it that x10 really do not support it? No !!
@ hunk143

For nexus you never noe, when it is that it can be applied to satio, they would definitely do it to boost it sales along side with X10. ( might be after the launch of X10 though )
And for equalizer you might have not noticed what moshik wrote yesterday ( or mine and novica’s discussion ), but the firmware update is just around the corner and it will include a equalizer for satio.

Some info about the X10’s price!
@ Manish, Of Course i read all that discussion but It’s not official yet that the Satio will have a Equalizer! So let Update come first then we will see.
@ Noc, Wow! The price is perfect.
Yeah but it’s too early for prices! It’s kind of standard for SE to put this price to a high-end device and the person who can pay 600 euros for a phone surely can add another 50
@ Novica
It says “swedish press event”..are we not posting this in the post whose author did presentation in that event?
Rikard you didn’t tell us bout that?
And yes price is about 100USD costlier than satio.
P.S.
I posted bout it yesterday too, it’s also mentioned in the link rikard posted in this post.
Sorry mate didn’t quite understand Your last post…
Oh..sorry got it really confusing?
Well i wanted to say that the link you provided said that the pricing was revealed in “swedish press event”. ryt?
But are we not posting this news on the topic with same title and author being rikard who did attend the event? right?
but he didn’t tell us that?
I too believe it’s too early bout the pricing!
Oh now I understand. You’re pretty much right.
Hi guys
I’m a bit busy with studies so not much time to visit.
I was wondering something, is there any news on a 1500mah battery for the Satio cause I keep on getting empty before the day has ended
@ Valinor, I don’t think so.
@ Valinor
I don’t think we heard anything of that sort for satio, but X10 has 1500mah Battery.
Well i don’t think they would do an battery update but as piotr pointed out earlier it was the firmware update that would increase the battery performance!!
And the firmware update is just round the corner so get prepared to have new things for for your satio.

After the press event, it was released that this phone will be coming to AT&T in the states with T-Mobile’s 3G frequencies being removed from the device. Fail. Is this true? If so, are you at least going to allow people to buy the European version of the phone somewhere so we can choose what carrier it goes on with 3G?
How will we get updates if we are forced to buy a phone from another country just to use it on the network in our own?
The reason I say that is that this phone looks to be high priced. That means enthusiasts will buy it but the average joe won’t. It’s a high-end phone. Carriers in the US are identifiable by the frequencies they use. The product page specifically states that 1700 will be removed from the states. That means this phone will be AT&T 3G only. AT&T has network congestion in big cities due to iPhone. They also charge higher rates. Since this is a phone for enthusiasts, they/we wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for something we feel is special….but. You are releasing an android phone. The highest number of android enthusiasts are on T-Mo. It makes better sense from a sales perspective to release a phone on a network you already have a base in rather than to release a phone in a different network and try to woo iPhone users to give up their iPhones or woo android users to drop t-mo and go back to the network that they probably left to get away from the iphone. Every android user I’ve met used to use an iphone and switch to android for a more open system on a cheaper network.
Is there any reasoning behind the move? It just doesn’t make logical sense to me.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 press event in Sweden…
There was a press event held in Sweden for Xperia X10 by Sony Ericsson. If you are interested know what had happed there, you can view the video below.
The original blog from Sony Ericsson is here.
……
These dudes advertising their pages and blogs are plain boring!
Yes and they have all that old information that we already have.
Will we be lucky enough to get Multi-Touch on the X10 and is somebody going to do anything about the lagg?
Best Regards
Sahand
Somebody IS DOING something about the lag and the lag has been significantly decreased. About multi-touch it depends if the x10 gets Eclair and gets rid off Donut!
Love to make beats then you should take a look at sonicpro. It works so well, i love all the beats i make.
