One of the first comments on the redesigned Product Blog said “Welcome, Mattias! Rikard left you some big shoes to fill”, something I am already experiencing
. I love all the engagement you bring to the blog, asking questions and discussing the products.
With this post I want to quickly tell you that I have collected your questions and my colleague, Sumit Malhotra, global marketing manager for the Xperia X10, will soon get back with answers to them at the moment. So stay tuned.

Hey Mattias here’s one more question. Can You confirm what Gustaf Brusewitz, a pr manager said here: http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fit24.idg.se%2F2.2275%2F1.266246%2Fsony-ericssons-android-ar-har&sl=sv&tl=en&history_state0=
I quote him: ” – We believe that users are not only interested in the traditional functions and specifications, but rather of the user experience. Our focus is therefore on a strong user experience through applications that Sony Ericsson Cape Times and Cape Media. But it is important to note that we will offer compatibility with Android 2.0 for Xperia X10 in due course, “says Gustaf Brusewitz, promotion manager at Sony Ericsson. ”
Is it true what he says about Eclair?

@Mattias: you do not worry. I see a little afraid of change in this blog. Rikard is a great person but he was limited in markets like the American, Australian, etc.. I live in the Americas and no found information of the launch of Satio A (Americas). I hope you can help in matters like this. Anyway I hope someday see Rikard on the launch of Satio II, so he choose me the test pilots

Mattias ( or Rik, I hope You’re alright and will comment a bit here
) You have got to tell us a more detailed informations about the screen. I mean a lot more detailed becouse a lot of people are just making assumptions and some of them are negative for the X10 so…
A lot of people a comparing the screen’s contrast with htc hero’s of the speed forge 3d and the HTC HERO wins. Is this becouse the comparison is made between the Hero – which is a final product and the X10 – which is a prototype? I think that’s the reason.

I have a great question! Why is the Satio now listed on the USA Sony Ericsson website, (even teasing us with a “buy” button) only to have zero info on availability or how to buy?

Spidey, it would really matter if the codec used was .3GPP, like in all other Xperias. I hope SE is going to walk away from that. This format is apoorling…
I just can’t wait until Cortex A9 times
So much power to handle… so many possibilities. There won’t be anymore limits in a mobile phone… Full HD recording, PC-like internet browsing, proper, high resolution gaming. And it’s only a year away… TI and STEricsson have already started sampling these beauties to manufacturers.
I really hope SE has started Satio successor already! ![]()
I know that these days this blog is more to Android, however I still love Symbian a lot

Ahh! very nice… I hope to get answers now (at least).
@ Noc Josifovski, well what i think is HTC Hero might be having better contrast that X10, even if X10 showed in video was a prototype but it ran the game quite remarkably. Rest is up to Mattias or Sumit to tell.

hey, is there any possibility of the internal flash memory being bumped up to at least 8GB, because 1GB is not gonna be enough for the more sophisticated apps that are sure to come out. That said also saving media to the SD card is horrible due to the read/write speed of external flash memory cards. If the phone has sufficient internal memory for apps, movies, and photos that would be great because it would reduce the lag seen on current android phones when accessing photos or videos. Thanks.

I agree with Piotr.
Do you plan a Satio II ? I mean a multitouch Satio with an AMOLED 854×480 screen, a Jack 3,5 mm, an HD TV out, HD resolution recording, Divx/XVid reading capability ?
It would be a great device

@Konstatin, why are limiting your views about Satio II. Don’t you guys know that Sony Ericsson has planned to produce phone upto 20 Mega pixel till 2012. i can give a link to that page, if i find it again (gsmarena)… i think we should consider the fact that as the Mega Pixel war is going on and on, by the end of 2010 we will surely see a 15 Mega Pixel Phone.
So in my opinion the Satio II should be: (we all can laugh on this)
15 MP Camera with 3x Optical zoom and Full ISO settings, Multi-touch, TV-OUT (HD) , HD video recording, 3G – 3.5G & 4G, A sliding (touch) keyboard + Gaming keys, Walkman 5.0, Full FLASH supported Mozilla powered Browser, Android 3.0, 16M colors + 1024 x 768 resolution screen (let it beat my PC) and many more, stay tuned, LOL! xD
