Announcing the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

Today we announce the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, our first phone based on the Android OS. We think this phone will be something extra and are incredibly excited about the launch!

With Xperia X10 we hope to add our entertainment heritage to the Android OS. We also introduce the newly created UX platform, built upon Open OS, which will evolve across the product portfolio and expand over time.

Would you rather have this phone as soon as possible – or have to wait Another 2-3 months just because it does not have Eclair?…

@PUX: You should not worry about the update Android 2. you please understand that it takes time to update applications SE Timescape™ ,SE Mediascape™, and SE Home application. It is like passing from Vista to W7. You need time to update the application software. I think the S.E. team is working hard to surprise us with Android 2.1
